TBTL with Luke Burbank, addressing the recent podcast interview.

Hi all. So my little blog seems to be getting a lot more hits than usual thanks in large part to being interviewed on the podcast 'TBTL with Luke Burbank' on August 8th. (http://www.mynorthwest.com/?nid=577&a=32163)

If you've heard it (and the following two follow-up podcasts to the feature) you'll see that for various reasons, it stirred up some mutha fuckin' emotions ya'll, and some bi-polar ones at that. I was widely hated and told to go fuck myself (they didn't get it), but then also loved and thanked by a second wave of peeps who are clearly fabulous (they got it). Basically, what I think is that a lot of stupid people whom are most likely the very passengers that inspire many of my rants drank the haterade instead of the coffee, tea, or me. This is probably because they are severely unhappy with their lives and need to get laid or take a laxative.  I'm fully aware now that in taking such an extreme stance, I gotta be ready to take on even more bullshit than I already do on the plane.

So bring it on general public. You inspire me with your stupidity and senseless humor. Without you, I'd have no material. Kisses!

  1. As a member of the general public, I suppose I don't know enough about you to really get what your style is without feeling like you're attacking the royal me. Your POV can come off as abrasive, divisive (probably cause it's a bit derisive) and just confusing to those who don't relate.

I suppose admitting your unapologetic stance is a de facto apology to the offended types? You remain on my RSS feed out of morbid curiosity and I truly hope you cultivate the audience you're looking to draw.

  2. I've already added your blog to my favorites and that's a rarity. Love your past posting and eagerly await new ones. And I've stopped ordering ginger ale on flights, so there's that.

  3. I love your blogs and sense of humor. I can totally relate and can understand why those that don't feel...um... attacked? (Sounds like a personal issue to me.) One thing is for sure, you'll win some and you will lose some and there is no way in this lifetime that you will please everyone. So keep doing what you do! Haters are going to HATE (forgive them Father, for they do not know what they do), they just simply can't help it. From one of your fabulous followers, in my book you are "WINNING"!!!!!

  5. So glad the TBTL folks came to their senses and apologized for being total douche bags to you. Their interview questions basically set you up to fail. Well job champing it out!! You are effing hilarious! Haters gonna hate because they're too dumb to realize it's all in good fun. Big love!
